This single malt comes from an undisclosed distillery on the Isle of Islay! Matured in a Rioja wine cask, this was independently bottled in 2021 by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. for The Cooper's Choice range, with an outturn of 318 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Red berries and forest fruits with wafts of menthol and damp bonfire.
Palate
Mineral, coastal notes cross with redcurrants, grapes, sweet strawberries, and sour blackcurrants. Oily smoke, maritime tar, and bitter wood balance the sweet fruit.
Finish
Pepper prickle, strong coffee, musty and smoky with sweet bonfire ash.
