A single cask bottling by name and by nature! This Lochindaal single malt Scotch whisky (Bruichladdich's peated whisky) was distilled back in 2009 and popped into a first-fill ex-bourbon barrel that yielded 229 bottles at a potent natural cask strength of 61.3%.
BBQ ribs, iodine, and treacle with honey-roasted nuts in the backdrop.
Earthy peat and orchard fruit take centre stage.
Tangy lemon and wood ash linger.
