Nose

Caramel and sweetcorn, with hints of toasty oak and spearmint.

Palate

Herbaceous as it opens, soon giving way to yet more caramel.

White chocolate and cherry drops.

Superb American spirit

This is by far the best American whiskey I have ever tasted, even compared to all bourbons. The tasting notes supplied by Master of Malt are quite spot on, but I would elaborate that on the palate, you experience cherry, marzipan and glue (yes, glue is not an uncommon tasting note). It really has a deep, complex mouthfeel due to the high alcohol 59.7% ABV. Out of the 115 bottles produced, I own five of them and I am currently deep into bottle no. two. This is a superb release of an American product, highly recommended from my side. I rate it at a whopping 96 / 100.
