Rosebank 8 Year Old 1985 (cask 25.8) - (The Scotch Malt Whisky Society) 70cl

This is a Lowland single malt Scotch whisky from The Scotch Malt Whisky Society. It was distilled in October 1985 and then matured in a single cask for eight years before being bottled in September 1994 at 61.3% ABV. The SMWS always doesn't outright reveal which distillery it sources its whisky from, so all we'll say is it was a previously silent distillery that is making a very welcome comeback...
