The Sassenach is the first whisky launched by Sam Heughan (who you may know as the actor who plays Jamie Fraser on hit sci-fi TV show Outlander), inspired by picturesque Highland landscapes. Expect waves of butterscotch, fresh citrus and warming spices from this tasty blended Scotch whisky.
Fresh apricot and orange, with a drizzle of caramel and a slow build of cinnamon.
Waves of honey and vanilla fudge, dotted with raisin, almond and another helping of cinnamon spiciness.
Lasting nutmeg, citrus oils and toffee.
Crikey. A, no age statement, blended Scotch at nearly eighty quid a bottle! Should make someone a tidy profit.

Never had any kind of whiskey or scotch before in my life and I am 70. My husband bought this for me as a Christmas gift when it first was available. We now have a second bottle. I love it! We enjoy a wee dram on the weekends when we are at our vacation home as that is where I keep it.
I was lucky enough to be able to taste it. Sassenach is an exceptional whiskey. With powerful and sweet caramelized aromas at the same time, an explosion of flavors. It is the nectar of the gods. Well done, can't wait to be able to taste it again in France.
I bought as a gift for a friend, she had never had whisky, I had years ago but its not really my thing. I tried and if I was going to drink whisky I would drink this one, I could taste the vanilla were usually it just tastes of burn and fire, my friend really loved it and the bottle is just beautiful, like a vintage perfume bottle.
