Fresh apricot and orange, with a drizzle of caramel and a slow build of cinnamon.
Waves of honey and vanilla fudge, dotted with raisin, almond and another helping of cinnamon spiciness.
Lasting nutmeg, citrus oils and toffee.

Love this blended whiskey, yes it is slightly expensive but I’ve spent (wasted) more money trying to find one I like. I am now buying a second bottle of Sassenach and I would recommend this drink to others as a very enjoyable tipple! Slainte! ?
Far, far and outrageously too expensive for what it is. Commercial greed at work here me thinks. To Sam, please think again my friend. Whoever advised you steered you down a blind alley! To potential buyers, there are many other truly fantastic Scotch Malts, Blended Malts and Blended Scotches out there to find and try for literally half the price! Forget the marketing claptrap and enjoy a journey of discovery with your whisky choices.
I'm not a whisky drinker, but I found this blend to be incredibly smooth and delicious, particularly for a 40% plus spirit. I fear I may have found my gateway whisky drink! My husband is a huge single malt fan and was very dubious, particularly because of the price, but even he has had to admit it's a really tasty dram! The design of the bottle is an extra perfect touch and I do worry I will need to buy a new bottle sooner than I hoped. More expensive because if the celebrity founder, however a genuinely great blend and I would highly recommend.
I am a whisky lover from a Peaty Laphroaig to a smooth Glenlivet! I will try them all! The Sassenach is a fabulous blend thank you ????????????????????????????????
