The Sassenach is the first whisky launched by Sam Heughan (who you may know as the actor who plays Jamie Fraser on hit sci-fi TV show Outlander), inspired by picturesque Highland landscapes. Expect waves of butterscotch, fresh citrus and warming spices from this tasty blended Scotch whisky.
Fresh apricot and orange, with a drizzle of caramel and a slow build of cinnamon.
Waves of honey and vanilla fudge, dotted with raisin, almond and another helping of cinnamon spiciness.
Lasting nutmeg, citrus oils and toffee.

It took a lot of patience But, when The Sassenach arrived, I was sooo excited. I proudly presented the package to my husband, who will drink nothing but Scotch. Is a Scotch Snob. We took pictures. Talked about the location, process and all things that makes this an awesome Scotch. The end result, was the epitome of respect from my husband. The bottle sits on top of his “place of honor” cabinet, amongst career military tributes, three hole in one trophies, and various other precious memorabilia. There it will stay until the perfect moment occurs to open it. In the meantime, it waits in all it’s glory. Now, THAT’S an honor.
I just received my second bottle of The Sassenach. It is wonderful. It is smooth and slightly sweet and has an amazing aroma. I highly recommend.

I'm a Scotch drinker now, I really enjoy Sassenach! No ice, as I say.. clean! ? Great flavors, it goes down too easily!
