The Sassenach is the first whisky launched by Sam Heughan (who you may know as the actor who plays Jamie Fraser on hit sci-fi TV show Outlander), inspired by picturesque Highland landscapes. Expect waves of butterscotch, fresh citrus and warming spices from this tasty blended Scotch whisky.
Fresh apricot and orange, with a drizzle of caramel and a slow build of cinnamon.
Waves of honey and vanilla fudge, dotted with raisin, almond and another helping of cinnamon spiciness.
Lasting nutmeg, citrus oils and toffee.

Absolute great stuff, love it
Sassenach whiskey is very drinkable. It smells wonderfully fruity, sweet and light and goes down with enough punch to make it feel like you’re drinking a heavy duty scotch. And there’s no peaty or smokey taste to it (which I don’t like). I think it’s the best of both worlds and I’m being very honest about the taste even though I’m a female who loves Outlander. My bourbons, scotches and blended whiskeys are very important to me and I am not being biased when I say I love the Sassenach. Wish it was cheaper and more readily available here in the US
