Fresh apricot and orange, with a drizzle of caramel and a slow build of cinnamon.
Waves of honey and vanilla fudge, dotted with raisin, almond and another helping of cinnamon spiciness.

It’s delicious! We opened our first bottle on my son’s 18th birthday, and it did not disappoint. Sassenach is forever woven into the fabric of our family now - we pull it out for celebrations, and it always adds to the specialness of the occasion.
Didn't know what to expect as a first time whisky and in honesty bought it because it was Sam's but it blew me away! Love the different tastes that come through you can really taste the butterscotch and spices especially cinnamon it's a bit pricey but worth it
I am not a whisky drinker but I was so pleasantly surprised by the Sassenach. Smooth, aromatic and very tasty! I was afraid I would have that burning feeling as it went down as in some other alcoholic drinks but I was totally surprised. Definitely will get another bottle!
Great whisky, it's a treat for your taste buds no other whiskey for me. This whiskey is well worth its stars and double.
Bought this for my husband who likes Scottish whisky and even though he has never watched Outlander, he has watched Sam in Bloodshot. So after it arrived, he studied the bottle and read all the information and had a little wee dram to try and he loved it, though very strong, it was smooth for the palate. After a few weeks, I expected to find only a small amount missing from the bottle but no, he had drunk the whole bottle! I can totally understand why it is out of stock because it is so nice!
