The Sassenach is the first whisky launched by Sam Heughan (who you may know as the actor who plays Jamie Fraser on hit sci-fi TV show Outlander), inspired by picturesque Highland landscapes. Expect waves of butterscotch, fresh citrus and warming spices from this tasty blended Scotch whisky.
Fresh apricot and orange, with a drizzle of caramel and a slow build of cinnamon.
Waves of honey and vanilla fudge, dotted with raisin, almond and another helping of cinnamon spiciness.
Lasting nutmeg, citrus oils and toffee.
I've created my own definition for Sassenach. Someone new to the taste of whiskey though I'm in alignment with an explorer. This whiskey is smooth to my palate as compared to whiskeys such as Glenfiddich or Abernathy. I've not ventured far with my exploration but I'm in love and am looking forward to my next bottle. Thank you!
So delicious. I wasn't expecting such a delectable flavor. This is my first bottle of Whisky I've bought. Pleasantly surprised. The SASSENACH is SOLID GOLD??????????
In the first instance, the bottle is a Beauty and a classy feast for the eyes, but.. the real beauty of it all is that firework on your palate. I didn't expect such a sweetness of Vanilla and almond accompanied by a taste of nutmeg in the finish. It is indeed an unique and exceptional whisky. Be prepared - your taste buds will dance??Slàinte

I bought a bottle for myself for my birthday! It wasn’t cheap getting it to New Zealand.....but worth every cent! It is for me and me only! It’s absolutely delicious, and I will certainly order the new brew when it comes into the market! ?
