The Sassenach is the first whisky launched by Sam Heughan (who you may know as the actor who plays Jamie Fraser on hit sci-fi TV show Outlander), inspired by picturesque Highland landscapes. Expect waves of butterscotch, fresh citrus and warming spices from this tasty blended Scotch whisky.
Fresh apricot and orange, with a drizzle of caramel and a slow build of cinnamon.
Waves of honey and vanilla fudge, dotted with raisin, almond and another helping of cinnamon spiciness.
Lasting nutmeg, citrus oils and toffee.

I love peaty single malts and was a bit skeptical to try a celebrity blend but as my Glaswegian Uncle John would say there is no bad bottle of whisky so was up for a try. I found Sassenach to be a really nice, well balanced and smooth whisky that’s very drinkable. Suitable for any day or occasion, its an accessible whisky anyone with a novice or experienced palate could enjoy.
I absolutely love this.. it’s exactly how you described it .. At first for me - it kinda burned my mouth .. I add a couple of drops of water .. on my 5th bottle ... would love to be able to buy from Sam’s site ... waiting for you all to get inventory for the USA ?????????
