This was distilled on New Zealand's South Island at the Willowbank distillery in 1993. It was then aged in a single cask for 18 years before bottling at natural cask strength by The New Zealand Malt Whisky Company.
Nose: Toasted, oaky nose. Hints of caramel and allspice. Butterscotch.
Palate: Dried banana and cracked black pepper. Hints of citrus.
Finish: Zesty, peppery finish. A little lingering sweetness.
