The Macallan TIME : SPACE Sherry Cask 70cl Whisky

The Macallan TIME : SPACE Sherry Cask celebrates its co-ownership of the historic Valdespino sherry bodega in Jerez, with whisky matured for at least 20 years in bespoke sherry-seasoned casks before a further rest in oak seasoned with its own Valdespino sherry. Those final casks come from the first 200 filled in 2024 to mark The Macallan’s 200th birthday. Most are being left to get on with things for a few decades yet, but a select number form the third release in the TIME : SPACE Collection, creating a single malt rich in dried fruit, ginger cake and treacle toffee, with chocolate-coated cherries, warming spice and polished oak.
