This right here is the second batch of Macallan's Rare Cask from 2018. Rare Cask is now released in small batches (three of them in 2018, four of them in subsequent years), featuring whisky drawn from 50 sherry butts. A rich, powerfully flavoursome expression.

Soft notes of opulent vanilla and raisin pique the nose, giving way to a sweet ensemble of apple, lemon and orange.
Oak resonates, timeless, polished and rich. Vanilla and chocolate lead the finale along with a light citrus zest.
