Description

This is the 2026 edition of The Macallan Rare Cask. Of the thousands of sherry-seasoned European oak casks reviewed each year at The Macallan Estate, only a fraction display the rich raisin sweetness sought for the Rare Cask releases. An indulgent dram, selected by The Macallan's Whisky Mastery Team.

Nose

Soft notes of vanilla with rich raisin, followed by a sweet fusion of fresh apple, lemon and orange.

Palate

Intense sweet raisin dominates before giving way to vanilla and dark chocolate, with layers of light citrus zest.

Finish

Long, rich and velvety.
