Part of a series launched for the Travel Retail market by Macallan in the late 1990s/early 2000s, this expression was created to reflect the flavours of its whiskies produced in the 1940s. A creamier, more bourbon-cask-influenced Macallan than the heavily-Sherried Macallan you'll likely be familiar with, and with a particularly pronounced peaty hint.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
