As you can imagine, these casks have imparted a wealth of rich, sweet, lip-smacking sherry notes to the Speyside single malt.
Root ginger, mint chocolate, poached pear and dates.
Diced almond, treacle, honey, raisin, raw cinnamon and a touch of cacao.
Enjoyably oak-y on the finish.

Bought this from Dubai Duty Free as well as a bottle of Terra 43.8% Alc. the Enigma 44.9%Alc is undoubtedly the finest I have tasted so far. Been used to the Terra which is excellent but the Enigma is in a different class altogether ! Had some lovely Malts from my Brother Evan RIP but now have to buy my own !!!
