As you can imagine, these casks have imparted a wealth of rich, sweet, lip-smacking sherry notes to the Speyside single malt.
Root ginger, mint chocolate, poached pear and dates.
Diced almond, treacle, honey, raisin, raw cinnamon and a touch of cacao.
Enjoyably oak-y on the finish.

I have been given a bottle of enigma as a gift, it is fair to say I have never enjoyed a whisky like it. In my travels I have tried a number of whisky brands and styles, none compare to Enigma. I shall continue to sip and enjoy this exquisite nectar, thank you Macallan.
