Description

This is the eighth instalment in The Macallan's limited annual Classic Cut collection, showcasing a combo of whiskies matured in bourbon American oak and sherry-seasoned European oak casks. Bottled at a hearty 52.4% ABV, this single malt boasts generous notes of oaken vanilla sipped at full strength, but 'cut' it down with a drop or two of water and you'll discover more tropical pineapple sweetness emerging.

Nose

Rich vanilla, orchard fruits, marzipan, citrus peel, freshly picked herbs and sweet oak.

Palate

Rich vanilla, baked custard. milk chocolate, sweet green apple and balanced oak spices.

Finish

Long, rich and sweet finish.
