Very fruity, with notes of orange and pear on the nose. Also has a good dollop of sweet spices which develop into an almost smoky character. The sherry on the nose is refined and well balanced, with hints of honey and caramel.
Textbook malt delivery which gives way to a mouthful of dried apricots, prunes and figs. Hints of nutmeg and cinnamon weave in and out of an epic whack of honey that only a Speyside distillery of this kind of nobility can produce.
A long, full finish that carries fig, spices, chewy oak and a touch of light smoke.

A perfect whisky . The only problem has been the price inflation. I started to buy when was £103 from Greek Street whisky shop. Now it is too well known.
I had a glass just this week in Knoxville, TN. It was A superb experience. Smooth, warm and a lasting finish of pure delight.
This bottle is way under priced I never tasted a bottle that comes close to it. This is the finest Macallan bottle ever
The best of the best no doubt. Drink and light a good Cuban cigar and your in heaven. Worth every penny. Total bliss.
