This is the 1989 vintage release of The Macallan's highly sought after annual 18 Year Old Sherry Oak single malt. The whisky matured exclusively in oloroso sherry casks from Jerez for just shy of two decades before bottling at 43% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Producer

Nose

Dried fruits and ginger with a hint of citrus, vanilla and cinnamon.

Palate

Rich with dried fruit, spice, clove, orange and wood smoke.

Finish

Full and lingering, with dried fruits and sweet toffee, with a hint of ginger and wood smoke.
