A stunning 29 year old single malt from the legendary Macallan Distillery, independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company exclusively for us. Look, it's even got our name on the label, along with the curiously small stills found at the distillery, and the giant man having a good ol' look at them. Or they're miniature stills and its a regularly-sized man. Honestly, it's hard to say. Perspectives and all that. Anyway, the Boutique-y bunch have bottled up a brilliant Macallan for us, aged for 29 years, allowing it plenty of time to develop a wealth of flavour.
Batch 26 is a release of 95 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Buttered crumpets, gingerbread, apple brandy, very slightly floral at points, mead, caramelised dates, vanilla and sandalwood.
Sponge cake drizzled with honey, autumnal fruits, mature oak, dry white wine, custard cream biscuits, cigar box and crumbly fudge.
Sesame Snaps, hickory, honeycomb, tobacco again, milk chocolate and Seville orange.
