A cracking 2008 vintage single malt from Macallan, snapped up by The Scotch Malt Whisky Society. This whisky spent 16 years maturing, finishing with a stay in a first-fill oloroso sherry hogshead, yielding a total of 307 bottles at a hearty 62.5% ABV.
