An interpretation of what the whisky from the long-closed Lossit distillery could have tasted like, created by The Lost Distillery Company. This is a blended malt based on research into Lossit, which stood on Islay from 1817 to 1867.
Fruity peat, with underlying hints of creamy caramel.
Brown sugar caramelising in a pan with a few pineapple rings thrown in. A touch of dried earth.
Spicy cardamom and ginger. Still plenty of sugary sweetness.
