The Lakes Distillery has gone and made a spectacular single malt whisky for its Whiskymaker's Editions series exclusively for us! Dubbed Miramar, this expression evokes panoramic ocean views and dusk skies with a flavour profile imparted by featuring whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks as well as Port pipes. Whisky maker Dhavall Gandhi has produced an incredible expression here, with plenty of plum and stone fruit notes, balanced by touches of toasted malt and sea breeze. A release of 600 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Dried cherry, brandy snaps, fresh peaches, a waft of sea air and a touch of buttery malt.

Palate Salted caramel tart, red plums, softly toasted barley, cinnamon, orange oil, still subtly coastal.

Finish Lingering hints honey and stewed fruits last on the finish.
