Swedish single malt from the Box distillery, released as part of their 2nd Step Collection. This bottling, the 2nd in the series, was drawn from both Sherry and bourbon casks before being bottled at 51.2% ABV.
Smoke is not as pronounced as the first bottling in the series, with Sherried malt sweetness taking the lead. A light salinity does remain at its core.
Christmas spices (clove and cinnamon mostly), followed by sugared almonds and plump raisins.
A little bit chocolatey. Cedar spice warmth.
