The Glenlivet Code

The Glenlivet Code Bottling Note

Following on from the intriguing Alpha and Cipher expressions, Glenlivet Code is another mysterious (and delicious) single malt Scotch whisky from the legendary distillery. Once again, they have presented the whisky in an opaque black bottle and kept their lips sealed with regards to any cask information, meaning you can taste the whisky without any potential preconceived notions about its flavour profile.

Glenlivet Code Reviews

As good as any of the great Glenlivet selections.

Recently found one of these at a Mega-Bev. The price was pretty steep, but I thought to myself I probably won't see this again since I was out of town.

I've had plenty of Glenlivet selections including the original 16yr old Nadurras, and I can honestly say this Code is almost as good. Much more smooth, but the deep flavors are there. I was pretty surprised by some of the flavors, but there was still a good Glenlivet taste all the way through. The online tasting guide game for the Code was also pretty fun to try out with my brother.
