The Glenlivet gave its range a glow up in 2014, but this bottle of its 12 Year Old single malt was released before that time, offering a green-tinted window into the past.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Sweet creamy vanilla, honey, pineapple, vanilla, pressed apples and a little cinnamon.
Apple cores, fresh and fruity trifle and creamy citrus.
Long and delicious, almonds and apple.
One of the best selling malts in the world, well-worth re-visiting.

Well here's my update on the new founders reserve all I can say is no!! I hate it it's not a patch on the glenlivet 12 yr old all I can do is shop around and hope I can get some or my whisky days are over
A classic, smooth rich sweetish with a hint of complexity. Been a staple for donkeys years. I gave the Founders Reserve one star - if this has been discontinued in favour of that immature harsh swill I’m gobsmacked.
I'm so disappointed that this 12yr old has been discontinued I love it bought 3 bottles for Christmas and now down to my last one all I can hope for is the new founders reserve tastes as good
I was a little turned off by the initial taste of Glenlivet 12, but it definitely grew on me. The palate for me is fruit and tobacco, and the finish is pleasant and light. Would definitely give this another try.
Plain, artificial color, watered down, chill filtered to death. Deanston virgin oak is better at a lower price point than this if your just looking for a scotch that’s somewhat sweet and has an oak taste. Definitely made for the budget minded occasional scotch drinker. My advice from experience venture out, pay a little more, and thank me later.

“I cant agree with the first review either, this is a very good whisky and is worth every penny. Very highlt recommended.”
