Distilled in 1961, this is a very rare and collectible bottle of Glenlivet from Gordon and MacPhail's "Smith's Glenlivet" range. Full-bodied with a lovely rich, malty flavour...
Nose: Butterscotch and hints of spice. Manuka honey, toffee and potpourri. A touch of nutmeg.
Palate: Nutty, rich palate with hints of apple peel, sherry and ground mixed nuts. Slightly herbal.
Finish: Toffee apples and hints of sweet spice.
Overall: A rich, thick and creamy Glenlivet.
