The Glasgow distillery presents the second batch of its Original Cask Strength single malt! The distillery team selected three heavily charred American white oak casks of its flagship unpeated single malt, The Original, marrying them together for this batch, weighing in at a sturdy 59.5% ABV. A limited release of 750 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fruity and zesty, with dried stone fruits and tangy marmalade, toffee, fruit cake, and toasted oak.
Palate
Stewed stone fruits, toffee apples, tropical notes of grilled pineapple, fudge, and fruit cake spice.
Finish
Toasted marzipan, zesty orange peels, anise, and hints of clove.
