Prometheus 26 Year Old
A titanic malt made with barley malted by burning peat in Speyside. Just as Prometheus was the prequal to Ridley Scott's Alien movies, so these well aged malts are the prequal to The Glasgow Distillery Co.'s own whiskies.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose: A warm and welcoming bouquet with sweet notes of butterscotch, aromatic heather, orange zest and smoky charcoal. Palate: Satisfyingly longlasting, creamy and peppery with aromas of roasted nuts, nutmeg and clove entwined with hints of Madagascan vanilla, dark chocolate, rich fruitcake, heather honey, candied fruits and smoke.
