Here we have 1770 Original Glasgow single malt, distilled at none other than the Glasgow distillery, which brought whisky production back to the city for the first time in over 100 years! It's handcrafted in copper pot stills (named Tara and Mhairi), combining Scottish barley with the pure water of Loch Katrine. The limited edition whisky was then matured in first fill bourbon casks, and treated to a finish in virgin white oak.
Dried dark fruits with tropical undertones on the nose, followed by hints of biscuit, oak and freshly cut grass.
Sweet butterscotch with a crème brulee char on the pallet. Hints of freshly sliced pear, dried figs, dates and raisin with sweet almond, honey and creamy shortbread notes.
A long finish of thickly spread orange marmalade, nutmeg notes underpinned by complex woodiness and a slight spice.

Sweet, fruity and so smooth! Very nice surprise when I cracked this one open
An incredible whisky for such a young age!
Superb dram for a new single malt distillery in Glasgow. Incredibly complex given the apparent age and the fact it’s a debut whisky release. Congrats to the ladies and gents at Glasgow Distillery. 5 stars.
Elegant, define, great shape, really catches the light, and a great vase... sorry just talking about the bottle here. Not sure why this is priced so high, I expected more.
Cracking single malt - fantastic achievement from the Glasgow Distillery team
