Glasgow 1770 Peated Cask Strength Batch 03
Glasgow 1770 Peated Cask Strength Batch 03 was made with malted barley peated to 50ppm using mainland peat from Aberdeenshire. It matured for more than four and a half years in virgin American white oak before spending over three further years in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. The batch combines three hogsheads and was bottled at cask strength, with 1,000 bottles released.

Nose
Barbecue smoke, tobacco leaf, smoked ham, poached plums, dried apricot, and burnt orange peel.
Palate
Dense peat smoke, dark fruit, treacle, smoked meat, black pepper, and sweet oak.
Finish
Dried fruit, charred wood, tobacco, and warming spice.
