Launched in 2016 by The English Distillery, England's oldest registered whisky distillery, The English range features a pair of English single malt whiskies - this is the Original expression, showing off a creamy, vanilla-rich flavour profile.
Zesty orange, vanilla custard, grassy malt.
Nuttier than the nose, with notes of almond and hazelnut. Milk chocolate, more orange.
Rich barley and a handful of spices.

Very impressed. A malt with a good range of character, from honeyed-cinnamon through to Smoke n oak .A big range of flavours. Rule Brittania
As a scot we usually have between 25 to 30 malts in our collection all for drinking not keeping. A friend bought us the English and we love it . It does not matter where it is made or how good your company is at marketing.its about about people who care about their product no matter the country. Thanks for a lovely dram. Alan and Julie
A wonderful whisky, love it.
Delightful whisky.
Terrible I bought this in Marks & Spencer in Hong Kong.. it was over HK$500... over £50. I was hoping that it would be good although no high expectations as there was no age. It was a total disappointment... there was only the taste of raw alcohol... possibly the worst single malt that I have tasted along with cheaper Japanese whisky.. This would be passable in a supermarket if priced at around £8 in UK.. I would give it a miss.. Let it age in better old oak casks for many more years.
