The English - First-Fill American Oak
This expression from The English Distillery has been allowed to mature in first-fill American oak bourbon casks. Oodles upon oodles of warming vanilla and orchard fruit notes to tuck into here, folks.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Pear, peach, buttered corn, toasted teacakes, meadows in spring.
Palate
Peanut brittle, sultana, Granny Smith apples, buttery corn once again, a dry hint of cedar spiciness.
Finish
Apricot jam on granary toast, fresh lemon zest, a touch of hay.
