A rare heavily-peated variant of The English Distillery's single malt whisky distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2021 after a good ol' slumber. Peated to 63ppm, this is a robustly-flavoured malt to rival many Islay mainstays. What? Who said that?
Seaweed, salted caramel, and oodles of rich and creamy smoke.
Caramel, more of that beautiful salinity and more than a touch of red fruit, and nectarine.
Long, lingering, and with unremitting wave after wave of that sweet, sweet peat.

I reckon you could blind taste test a Scotsman into thinking this was an Islay they were unfamiliar with. Strong bonfire smoke, with a refreshing sweetness and a salinity just a touch milder than an island whisky. Sweet, complex and oh so smoky, but with distinctive freshness.
