Description
Don't be put off by the name, Murder Lane from The Dublin Liberties is a vibrant single malt whiskey! The 13 Year Old sees an initial maturation in bourbon barrels before its transferred to Hungarian Tokaj wine casks for a finish, imparting a sweet and slightly syrupy flavour profile. The whiskey is in fact named after an unmarked alley in Dublin, though with that nickname we perhaps wouldn't recommend visiting...

Nose
Bounty bar, vanilla macaroons and icing sugar, with almond butter and creamy vanilla pod.
Palate
Chocolate-dipped marzipan, tinned peaches in syrup, with coconut cream, nectarine and vanilla cake batter.
Finish
Lots of dried apricot and honey.
