Even though I have a few casks of DLD somewhere nr Dublin, I opened a bottle of Copper Alley last night. Very flavoursome, from Spanish orange peel (nose), highland shortbread, wood and cinnamon on the palate, with sweet almonds on the finish, this is fantastic liquid from the expanding quality distilleries where my Father hails from.
Smells lovely & a sweet fiery yet smooth taste, a 1st for me but would buy again & recommended if your looking for a top quality relaxing Irish whiskey
Smooth and sweet with a lingering aftertaste. Definitely one I would have again.
If you like Jameson's cooking whiskey (as an everyday drink) then this is a characterful step up.
Sweet and spicy, with a little bit of wood. Really nice and smooth. I have bought another bottle!
