This is the second release in The Dublin Liberties Irish Whiskey range - a 10 year old single malt which has enjoyed a finishing period in Sherry casks hand-picked by Master Distiller Darryl McNally.
Sherried peels, custard creams and a flash of hot cinnamon.
Dark chocolate, raisin and touches of oily walnut.
Nutty notes linger, now leaning more towards sugared almond.

i am drinking it as i write this review. it is just my pallet marvellous
Orange peels over woody nutty tones and a hint of firey cinnamon. Worth a try if you are looking for something different. With their new distillery due to open at the end of this year (2018) I'm sure we can expect more wonderful expressions from this local Dublin Liberties distillery.
Had this at a bar in Dublin. It's thick, heavy on the sherry and bursting with creamy fruitness. A gorgeous whisky.
