Dublin Liberties 10 Year Old Copper Alley Reviews

Beautiful coloured liquid

Even though I have a few casks of DLD somewhere nr Dublin, I opened a bottle of Copper Alley last night.
Very flavoursome, from Spanish orange peel (nose), highland shortbread, wood and cinnamon on the palate, with sweet almonds on the finish, this is fantastic liquid from the expanding quality distilleries where my Father hails from.

Excellent to relax with.

Smooth and sweet with a lingering aftertaste. Definitely one I would have again.

A fine example of the region - would buy again

If you like Jameson's cooking whiskey (as an everyday drink) then this is a characterful step up.

A real fire cracker

Orange peels over woody nutty tones and a hint of firey cinnamon. Worth a try if you are looking for something different. With their new distillery due to open at the end of this year (2018) I'm sure we can expect more wonderful expressions from this local Dublin Liberties distillery.

A hidden gem

Had this at a bar in Dublin. It's thick, heavy on the sherry and bursting with creamy fruitness. A gorgeous whisky.
