The team behind The Distillery at Coleburn launch the Local Heros series with a trio of characterful blended whiskies. Sweet Peat sets out to provide a gentle introduction to smoky whisky, pairing layers of honey and plum pudding sweetness with elegant peat smoke and notes of tobacco.

Nose
Caramel, butterscotch, vanilla, plum pudding and toffee, balanced by an elegant smokiness.
Palate
Marshmallow, fudge, sweet honey, pear drops and ripe banana. Beautifully balanced with gentle smoke and a touch of tobacco.
Finish
Long, sweet and smoky.
