Dingle Grianstad an Gheimhridh
The fifth release from Dingle's series the Wheel of the Years, this release honours the ancient Celtic celebration of Grianstad an Gheimhridh, the winter solstice. The word Grianstad translates to ‘the stopping of the sun’, and this Irish single malt whiskey was made to be a testament to a time of year that is all about the dark of night drawing in, having been matured in bourbon and finished in Tawny Port casks.

Nose
Blackcurrant compote, cinnamon, dark chocolate, and coffee fudge.
Palate
Red berries, clove, gingerbread, caramel, and black pepper.
Finish
Spicy and sweet.
