Description

The Borders Distillery presents The Borders Single Malt Scotch Whisky, First Release. Marking the most significant milestone in its history, it's not only the distillery’s inaugural single malt Scotch whisky but the first whisky distilled in the Scottish Borders since 1837.

The eight year old single malt was aged in first-fill bourbon, then finished in malmsey Madeira casks. There's only 10,000 bottles available worldwide, each filled at 46% ABV.

Nose

Dried fruit, honey, vanilla, and cinnamon.

Palate

Orange, caramel, hazelnut, sponge cake, and raspberry.

Finish

Buttery macadamia nut and ginger.
