A rounded, smooth blend, the Antiquary 12 year old is a great whisky which Jim Murray awarded an incredible 92 points to in his 2013 Whisky Bible.
The nose is light and well-balanced. There are notes of malted barley and honey, a touch of spice and fresh fruit salad. The palate is of medium-body with notes of calvados and barley, a touch of honey and mixed peels and notes of oak. The finish is quite long with oak and caramel.

Bought my first bottle in Aberdeen 1976. Def.best ever tasted
The best.....company originally owned by my great grandfather....
nose is OK, but first sip is a bit sharp and having no enticing taste, but the second glass and further, till the bottom of the bottle are fantastic. I' m a Polish, leaving in PL, more accustomed to vodka ( what we call potato juice), but since I started 12 tears The Antiquary it can be my favorite (good Scotch is my hobby)
Great drink
i bought this in endinburgh..im drinking this now.... fucking brilliant..
