A half-a-century-old Speysider is always a treat, so it's no surprise That Boutique-y Whisky Company included it in its 10th birthday bonanza. While the name of this family-owned distillery can't be revealed, we can tell you it spent the whole 50 years in a refill butt, chosen so the whisky wouldn't become overly woody or tannic. The whisky makers obviously did a stellar job at its ABV has held to a remarkable 52.5%.
Batch 5 is a release of 78 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
