Blended
Scotland
13 Dec 1976
A brill blended Scotch whisky from That Boutique-y Whisky Company, with a label that harks back to the days of yore and yonder – which is apt, considering this is a 42 year old expression! It sort of looks like one of those old Buchanan's Black & White labels with the two dogs on it, except... Well... Yeah... These dogs have people faces.
Batch 1 is a release of 490 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Malty vanilla, toasted oak with a hint of aromatic spice, cooked orchard fruit.
Treacle, shortbread, softly coastal, with mature oak building.
Delicately toasty on the finish.
