Ben Nevis 25 Year Old (That Boutique-y Whisky Company) 50cl

Bottled to mark That Boutique-y Whisky Company's 10th birthday, Ben Nevis was selected because it's one of the few remaining 'old-style' producers of Scotch whisky. Ben Nevis uses brewer’s yeast in wooden washbacks, the last distillery in Scotland to insist on this old way of inducing fermentation, while its distillation is slow and steady. The whole idea is to create a rich, deep distillate that suits ex-sherry casks. And boy does it work!

Batch 16 is a release of 726 bottles.

‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
