Irish single grain whiskey from Teeling! There are only an elite few Irish single grain whiskies out there at the moment, but Teeling went ahead and made theirs unique by maturing it in Californian Cabernet Sauvignon casks. Deliciously sweet with a good deal of spice and fruit hide within the Teeling Single Grain.

Not much to say other than very smooth, good value for money and definitely on the rebuy list..
Discovered this on a recent trip to Dublin. It has a lovely syrupy texture; it’s sweet with a spicy finish. A perfect whisky for the fall!
At first you get the aroma of grapes, I assume from maturing in the Cabernet Sauvignon casks, because then, when you swish it around in your mouth, you get the fruity berry flavours. After swallowing and exhaling through your nose you get the warmth and spiciness, but not too overpowering. Overall, this is a nice Single Grain Irish Whiskey from Teeling. But, I think maybe it would improve if it was left to mature a little longer.
Personallly, one of the best whiskeys I've ever had, i love the sweetness and the subtile sourness. Just an unusual flavor and experience, but i love it.
Sweet with some spice. A bit rough around the edges probably due to it being rather young. Give your whisky a few more years Teeling. At present it is all a bit rough and not worth the price.
