Extraordinarily old Irish whiskey from the Teeling Whiskey Company. This Platinum edition of their Vintage Reserve Collection features 30 year old(!), single malt, double distilled whiskey that was matured in a single bourbon cask. A simply jaw-dropping achievement in Irish whiskey. Only 250 bottles were produced.
Nectarines, peaches, grapes and a handful of Starburst sweeties. Very refreshing for a 30 year old.
Syrup-covered pancakes with fresh fruit thrown on the top (blueberries and more nectarines). Scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam.
Peaches again. Rolos and white chocolate.
Not as charateristic as the 21 or 26, but still a fantastic whiskey.
