The Teeling team has once again collaborated with another talented drinks producer to create a stunning Irish whiskey! This time, Teeling worked with German winery Reichsrat Van Buhl, which has been in the winemaking game since 1849! While Reichsrat Van Buhl has become very well-known for its Riesling, it also makes some fantastic Pinot Noir, and that's what this expression here is about. Teeling has given its flagship Small Batch whiskey a finishing period in Reichsrat Van Buhl's Pinot Noir casks, imparting generous helpings of dried fruit, as well as subtly drying, spicy notes.
Dried cherry, floral freshness of orange blossom and hibiscus, subtle biscuity notes.
Dried fruit notes with a dusting of allspice and cinnamon, joined by vanilla fudge, raspberry ripple ice cream, and dried oak.
Clove, soft mineral hints, a final touch of sultana and strawberry.
